Memories

When I was about 11 my parents bought a caravan and it was sited at Wallasea.  I haven't been back for nearly 50 years and I went with my daughter and grandchildren last year and this is a layout from that day......took lots of photos so this is the first!!  The caravan site is still there...albeit much more modern!!  But sadly the pub had closed!!  Not that I was old enough to go in there but it was popular in those days!!

 

Studio challenges have a tictactoe .....

 

I have used a white background, blossoms and die cuts...but could go with the row stitching, die cuts and mint!!!  Decisions....decisions!!!

Fun in the Sun

This is a layout of Alex and his friend Ashley having fun in the garden with water on a lovely day in August....

 

I am entering this in the challenge at Lasting Memories - It's a Heatwave/Chipboard. I don't know about 'heatwave' but it was nice and sunny and warm...and the chipboard is the arrow, FUN title and camera.

Halloween 2009

Photos of the boys when they were much smaller!!!!!  Cassie was only a baby so was definitely too cute to spook!!!!  I don't do a lot of Halloween but as The Craft Barn and That's Crafty and Tando have a Halloween challenges thought I would dig out some photos!!!!!!!!

This layout of Sharon and her friend Sue was just right for the challenge at Scrap the Girls and Lessology!

Scrap the Girls have a mood board.....

 

All the colours are in the background paper and it is definitely the beach...although not very warm!! 

Lessology challenge 52 - Beachfront Property is to be inspired by elements of the beach.  My upcycled item was a pizza box stripped back to the corrugated base.

Time Flies...

Love this photo of the children's shoes...ready for starting a new year at school. These are the photos we don't always remember to take even though it happens every year!!!
So this layout was really suitable for the 'Time' challenge at Pixels and Paper.

 

I loved the clock with wings which came from Creative Embellishments.

I love this photo of Sharon which was taken at Halloween 2013 when we went to Barleylands for their Scary night!!!  Sharon doesn't like reptiles very much but as all the children held a snake she had to be brave!!!!!!!!!  But I think the face says it all!!  LOL

@ the Beach

I have just realised just how long since I have scrapped and joined in challenges....since May!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  This is what happens when the sun shines and I sit in the garden! LOL
This layout is for the challenge at Another Freaking Challenge.....you had to finish in 1hour!! This is not usually me but these photos of Alex didn't seem to require much more so I found this easy!!!  I used 'busy' paper, giant ric rac and sprinked real shells around his feet!! The title was from The Cut Shoppe which I printed on clear self adhesive.

Lights, Camera, Action

I haven't scrapped for so long I was getting worried I might forget how!! LOL
But I went to a retreat with my daughter at the weekend and really got back into it!!!!  So now to get back to the challenges!!

This is my layout for today for the 1st challenge at Picture This, which required 3 photos+chipboard+stamp (date is stamped). The 'Memories' card will probably have journaling on it when I get round to it!!
