Hole in One?

L - Lemonade!

The Alpha/Dictionary challenge at the Craft Barn.....this week the letter is 'L'.  I always smile at the saying about lemons and lemonade so have made this card as a "hope you are feeling better" card for a friend and I hope it will give her a smile!!

Halloween 2015

We went to a Halloween 'Party' at Garons and these are the photos of my scary family complete with blood and axes!!!

Owl Time

Alex absolutely loves Owls, so where ever we go if there is an Owl he is first in the queue to hold it or stroke it!!  These photos where taken last year when we found Owls on our travels!! LOL

 

I started with the sketch at Stuck?! Sketches.....

 

....and I don't think I did too bad!!

Then I went with the colour combo at Tando and I couldn't resist using their mini owls although I did give them eyes...

Hello card

There is a challenge blog called 'Scrap It With A Song'....I look at it every month, go through the lyrics and still cannot find words for a layout title!!
This month the pop song is Adele - Hello and the rock song Elle King - Ex's and Oh's....I felt like I had a choice because I could have done XOXO for Elle King!  But I had just got a new stamp 'Hello' so I went with that....plus I got to use it quite quickly instead of just putting it in the box with the rest!! LOL

Love this photo of Sharon and Lee that Alex took when they went on a trip to the woods.....

Every now and then I want to do a layout that is 'shabby chic' and this was the one!!!  I used paint, texture paste, hessian and more....it all got used!!!   The right side of the flowers is an embellishment that has glass flowers/leaves but it hasn't photographed very well!

I started with the sketch - 68 at Scrap Africa....

Flower Fairy

Back to School

This layout is the day they went back to school in September.  Time seems to be flying by....when did they all get so big???????

 

Yesterday was my birthday and Sharon bought me some paper pads and as I was thinking that the children seem to be growing so fast, so this sheet of paper leapt out of the paper pad!!!!!!!!! Well...not literally but it seemed so suitable for my thoughts on time!!  Also my school layouts seem always to be similar and this one now looks totally different I think!  I don't think I have ever used paper so fast!!! LOL

First/Last day at Blenheim

Alex left Blenheim Primary School in July to go to Eastwood Academy so I thought it would be a reminder for him to scrap his first day and his last day at the school!!  Alex is very sensitive and got very emotional and upset at leaving his teachers and girlfriend!  You don't notice how children change until you scrap something like this!!  But he is still good looking...although I could be biased!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

Capture the Moment
