Renewal of Promise - Cassie

The Renewal of Promise this year was on Cassie's birthday....she wasn't too pleased but got to carry the flag so that was ok!!

 

I am joining in the challenge at Scrap Our Stash - a sketch and to use something beginning with the letters L E A R N!!

 

I think I was quite good with the sketch (!) and I used....L = Letters, E = Eyelets (got lots and never use them - thank you!!), A = Arrow, R = Rub-ons (the words for and of), and N = Numbers (date).

The challenge closes 29th September so still time to get scrappy!!

Invested Underwater!!

Layout of Alex being invested into 1st Rayleigh Scouts underwater!!!  They had a diving week and as Alex does diving anyway they surprised him underwater!!!

Growing Like a Weed!!

Alex is 13 and 6' tall.....just had to scrap it when we found a height chart!!

 

This is for the challenge at Creative Embellishments -  to be inspired by one of the elements in the picture and to use a stamp on your background!

 

I did do lots of stamping....but then covered up lots with papers!!  Originally I was going to go with the numbers and perhaps do a school layout.......but then I remembered that I had 'A' stamps so really suitable for 'A'lex and then I used orange and blues!!  The large 'A' is actually stamped under the paper....so stamped it again and cut it out!!

The challenge closes at the end of the month so lots of time to scrap!!
