Shoulder Buddies....

I bought them all Shoulder Buddies a few years ago and last year Alex thought they would like another one!!  I forgot to wrap them for Christmas so they had them on Nicholas birthday instead!!!

A Grey Day at the Beach

It was a very grey day in April but I do like this photo of Sharon!!

 

I am entering the challenges at GoGoGetaway and Paper Issues with this layout.

GoGo require to be inspired by 5 different things.....

 

Did everything....painted the background blue...had to go and buy some watercolour paints first! Tore all the papers, have loads of layers and an octopus is sneaking up the lighthouse!! 

Paper Issues require more than one Font to be used.....I used 3!

Just Singing in the Rain....

Alex is very good at larking about.....just loved this!!!  Leaping around the garden in the rain singing!!!

Scout Pioneer

Alex really enjoys his scouting and he spent some time at Thriftwood doing a Pioneer course....learning different knots and then to build a bridge - and be able to walk on it! using the knots that they had learned!!
It is surprising what a few knots will let you do!!!  Reef knot is about my limit....but if you need a bridge built Alex is your man!!!  I got Alex to tie some knots for me......knowing it would be a good scrapping opportunity!!  He is actually standing on the bridge that he helped build!! 

 

I knew it would be a good scrapping layout and the challenge at Archi-Scraps is.....KNOTS!!!!

 

Don't you just love this knotty picture!!! How clever were the bricklayers!!!

Layout of Alex and his then girlfriend Rebecca when they were celebrating 60year anniversary of Blenheim School.  Each class has a different topic and their class did a Disney medley and Alex and Rebecca were Bert and Mary from Mary Poppins!!

Seaside - Hastings

The second challenge at the Studio Challenge is a layout with things beginning with 'S'!!

 

I started with a 'S'easide layout....and added sea shells, star fish, seahorse, used seaside photos, the sky is blue and used striped paper (and there are stones on the beach)!!!

They always do a World Book Day at school and Nicholas chose to go as Willy Wonka....he loves the book and the film!!!
