Sleepover! & Swimathon

I had a 'sleepover' at Christmas and Alex gave me his bed and shared Nicholas room! Was lovely...Alex made the bed, left me a note and put awesome on the light box....could actually have a drink too as I wasn't driving and I came home on 27th December!!

This is for another challenge at GoGo...and I followed the instructions precisely!!!!

The boys did a swimathon to raise money for Marie Curie and managed to raise £100!!!  Well done boys!!

 

The thickers are actually glitter ones but they haven't photographed very well!!

GoGo Cybercrop Challenges 2

I have been busy and here are some more for the challenges.....

 

 

I was inspired to use my stamps...but couldn't quite go to colours!! I did use my brick stamp with brown ink!!

 

 

Don't know if I went mad with mixed media but did get my 12x12 brick mask out ( was in pristine condition - unused! ) and made some texture paste!!

 

 

I use three photos a lot so this was good.....only one embellishment was harder but did just use buttons!!

GoGo Cybercrop Challenges

There is a cybercrop at GoGo this weekend and I have done a few of the challenges!!!

 

 

I have the straight lines in the paper and the numbers for the order of the photos...how long before we were ready!!!  I was really pleased with this layout!

 

 

A fun layout of Sharon and Cassie when we had the Queen, Prince William and Katherine come to visit the Royals shopping centre!!  I used layers and my favourite border punch!!

 

 

Cassie is a big Wonder Woman fan.....I fussy cut the Wonder Woman icon and decoupaged and also the logos.

I See No Ships (or sea)

Love this photo of the boys both looking in the telescope!!!  Had to do two layouts the same so they could each have one in their album!!

 

I used the left hand side of the sketch from Scrap Our Stash....I used two alphas....'I See No Ships' was one and the other 'or sea'!!  The striped paper is obvious!

Cool Dude

Love this photo of Alex thinking he is being cool!!!

 

I am entering the challenge at The Studio who want you to scraplift a DT layout.  I chose to scraplift a Lisa-Marie layout that two of the other DT had used....I loved all the layers but probably went a bit overboard!!!

 

I am also entering the challenge at Hey Little Magpie who had a list to choose from....

Paper Mill Lock

One Sunday afternoon Sharon thought it would be a good idea to visit the lock!  It was a glorious sunny day...especially as it was October and we had a lovely afternoon wandering along beside the river before we gave in and had tea/coffee and cake!

Groupies!

Sharon and I went to see Danny Mac in Sunset Boulevard and afterwards we met him and had some photos taken!! He is not as tall as he looks on TV and the stage but a very nice guy!

Quad Bike Fun

One of Sharon and Lee's Christmas presents 2017 from me was a Quad Bike Experience which they took in January at Tonbridge in Kent...they said it was lots of fun biking through mud!!!

 

I have found a new challenge blog 'Stick It Down'...and I hope the sketch is for inspiration as I don't do 'hearty' things....but got all the bits sticking out!!! Also ages ago I made a 'tread' stamp at a class so had to use that too for the mud!!

Be Unique

Birthday Girl

I have been scrapping this weekend so now time to upload to some challenges!

 

At White with 1.... for February it is Red plus a sketch for inspiration!  I got so carried away with what I wanted to do I forgot to use the sketch...just as well it is optional! I did in fact scraplift one of my layouts that I did at a GoGo getaway back in 2015!  Really it was because I found I had some of the papers with feathers on which I fussy cut!!!

 

 This is the layout but I can't remember who did the layout class...sorry! Was pleased with my scraplift....don't often scraplift my own layouts!!
