Sew Me!!!

I really enjoyed doing this layout!!!  I used the button idea from Liz at Soul Scrappers...done a similar thing with un-used alphas but this used loads of buttons...of which I have a few!! LOL

 

I covered a piece of 8x8 card in buttons and then painted with gesso and then used various mists until I got a colour I quite liked!!!!!

I used the sketch from Kreative Koncepts....


....well I did start with it....turned it round so the triangles were at the top as I knew I wanted to do bunting.........and then I seemed to veer off!!!!!! LOL

The challenge at Kreative Koncepts ends at the end of the month...so loads of time to get scrapping!!

I used the colours pink, white and green, buttons and flowers from the board.

    Ha ha - great challenge combining there Jackie - a woman after my own heart!
    Love the idea of converting buttons like that - I could get rid of a load of mismatched boringly coloured ones. TFS
