Faces From The Past

I found this very old photo - circa 1955!!! The journaling reads -'Where are they now?  Who are they? We were friends 60 years ago!'
I don't know who took the photo but it is obviously us kids playing out in the street!!!!!  No-one plays out in the street any more!!!!!

Flower Fairy Card

Another card...this time a decoupage flower fairy.

The Craft Barn require an interesting background made with inks, paint or Brushos.  I used alcohol inks...love playing with them!!! Challenge closes 29th March.

Garden Fun!!

Think Spring had sprung in February when the children got out into the garden for the first time with no coats!!!!  Sharon was gardening but they decided to get the hoppers out!!!!!! Fun time!!!!!

 

The challenge at Picture This requires 2 photos, dark background and a butterfly!!  Using a dark background is not really my thing unless I am doing black and white so this was definitely out of my comfort zone!!!!!

I used the sketch from Sketches in Thyme - 142.....

.....how good was I keeping to the sketch!!!!!!!

Both challenges end at the end of the month so still time to get scrapping!!!!!

4 Generations

I have done this layout for Sharons' family heritage album.....The photo is 4 generations of Butler men!!!!!!

 

I am entering the challenge at Archi-scraps who require a black, white and grey colour scheme and 'Old English'.  The fob watch, key and lock were my 'Old English' inspiration.

 

I was also inspired by the sketch at Sketches In Thyme - 141.

Goal Ball

Alex was chosen to represent Blenheim School for a Goal Ball inter school tournament.  He is not 'sporty' and when they came third and he got a medal he was over the moon!!!!!!!

 

I used the sketch from Let's Scrap - ISD......it is a double layout sketch but you can just use one side....as I have done!! The twist this month is that it is a joint challenge with Feeling Sketchy and you must do both challenges to be in with a chance of the prize!!!

Swim Gala

Photos of Nicholas from last year's school swim gala where he was champion boy!!!!
