Butterfly Birthday Card

Another card to add to my box!!!

 

This one is for the challenge at The Craft Barn who require you to use something from Tando.

I used the Tando Ink Splatters Mask with texture paste on a background of two different glimmer mists, then stamped a flourish and added a butterfly and some flowers.

This one is for the challenge at Time Out, who want something inspired by the words...Rock Around the Clock!!  I used my new embossing folder that I only had last week for my birthday!!

Summer Fun

Love this photo of Alex and Nicholas!!  They look like they are deep swimming somewhere with their goggles...but they are just in the garden with the pool!!!!

I had a bird and vine stamp in pristine condition.....(unused!!!).....so dug it out...and viola!!!  Think I was very good!!!! Haha

Family Memories

Another layout for Sharon's album!!!  The journalling will go on the tag when she figures out the date!!!  They always go out for breakfast on New Year's Day...just have to work out the year!! LOL

 

I used the sketch from Scrapping Everyday Miracles although it has changed slightly!!  The paper came with 'Family Memories' already printed so had to work around it!!!

The third scrappy friend Rochelle had a TicTacToe and I thought I had done the centre line....Pearls, flower and love hearts!!  But printing it off the middle box didn't print well and I thought it was love hearts...but it was love theme!!!!!!!! Oops!!!!!!  Never mind!!!!

Snowflake card

Made another card!!!!!!!!  This time I used my new Tando snowflake mask which I had for my birthday!!

As I used my new Tando mask I thought this was a good Anything Goes project...I am getting ready for next Christmas with this card! LOL

My Scraplift Challenge

I have lots of fun entering challenges and I have increased my followers because of that!!  So I thought I would run a challenge of my own!!!  I would like you to scraplift this layout that I did early last year.....

 

...I think it is quite an easy one to lift.....uses up lots of small pieces of paper and you only need one photo!!!

I haven't got a linky thingy but if you leave me a comment with a link to your entry I will add it to this post!!  If I get at least 5 entries I will draw a winner on Valentines Day 14th February and send someone a small prize as a thank you for entering!!

Tag card

Just made another card (!)...this one is for the challenge at Time Out.

 

This is the card that they are CASEing......

I embossed the background and then made the tag out of strips of Washi tape and added a charm under the ribbon....knew I would be able to use some washi that I have got somewhere!!!  Still not keen on Washi!!!!!

Red, white and blue card!

Another card for a change!!  This is for the challenge at UnstampaBelles....the criteria is a National symbol and the colours of your flag...which I misread and thought I had to use the flag!!!!!!!!

 

So I got the colours...and flag!!...and teapot and teacup!!!!!!!!!!  Tea has got to be the thing for the UK...even though I drink coffee!!!

Meeting Nicole

I have been writing to Nicole for over half a century now!!!!!!  This photo was taken when we met for the first time after just quarter of a century in 1983!!
We actually started writing when I was in my first year at senior school and in my French class we were asked if we would like a penfriend in Paris.  At the time I belonged to the IFL - International Friendship League and had penfriends all over the world so another one was good!!  We still correspond although we more often use the internet now and not 'snail' mail!!

 

I am entering the challenges at Archi-scraps and also Pixels and Paper.

Archi-scraps require Vintage and Flourishes......pearl flourishes and definitely vintage!  This is the stimulus picture.....

I have obviously gone with Paris and the fact I write to Nicole....albeit emails not paper!!

H2O Fun

I love these photos of Alex playing in the garden with the hose!!!!!! He was being so funny and had a blast!!!!!!

 

I am entering this layout in the challenge at Frosted Designs who require 'Direction'!!  The hose has a will of its own and goes everywhere in all directions.....and so I have followed this from photo 1 to photo 4 as it trails through the title!!  Hope this meets the criteria!!

Mountfitchet Castle

Layout of school trip for Alex when he was in Year 3......2011!!!  These are Sharons' photos and as she is so far behind with her layouts I said I would scrap them!!!  I am being very nice as I don't do double layouts very much....need too much space....I prefer singles!!!  What a nice Mum!!!!!!!!!!!!
