Just before the children went back to school in September we went for a day out at Wallasea/Creeksea.  My parents had a caravan here in the early 60's and we used to come from London and spend the weekends in the country!  I was in my early teens and I used to go all over...walking, bus rides and boat rides!  I remember going to Burnham and coming back with a yellow polka dot bikini...the song was in the pop charts at the time!!!!!!!!  Children are not allowed now to dash about like we did then and it is a shame!  Anyway...this is a photo that was taken on the boat on the way to Burnham.....very different now!!  You ring for the boat to come and get you!!!  When I used to get the ferry it used to run to a timetable!!!
I am joining in the challenge at Scrap Our Stash whose word this month is STAMP!
I used.....S = Stickers, T = Tickets, A =  Alphas, M = Metal anchor, P = Paint and Photo corners
The challenge closes at the end of the month so lots of time to scrap!
The challenge at Picture This require 1 photo, corners and splatter.  I used chipboard photo corners and covered them in paper and then inked to tone down the colour!  I painted the corrugated card and then splattered....never splattered before...what a mess I made!!!!!!!!
The challenge closes at the end of the month so lots of time to get messy like me!!

I have found a new challenge blog that requires you to upcycle!!!
This months challenge #46 - Typeface is to use different fonts and to upcycle something!!  I used corrugated card from a pizza box that I had stripped back and there are three different fonts on the layout.
The challenge closes 3rd May so loads of time to join in and save something from landfill!!
