Birthday Card

When I finish a layout I am going to try (!) to use the odd bits left over to make a card!! Hopefully this will help me not keep loads of bits (just in case!) and also stock my card box!! This is the first one.....I used the papers left from my 'Ice cream' layout.

I used the sketch from Scrapping Everyday Miracles...

....the challenge closes at the end of the month so lots of time to join in!!

I am also entering the challenge at the Craft Barn.  The challenge is an Alpha/Dictionary challenge and this week the letter is 'B'. You have to pick something beginning with the week's letter, cut the definition from a dictionary and incorporate it in your project!!

I chose B - Birthday!! This seemed easy this week.....will I be able to continue as it gets harder???? LOL  Looking at the 'B's' that others have used I think I chickened out!!

The challenge closes on the 24trh January so time to join in!!

Thanks for visiting!!!

  7. What a perfect beginning to the Craft Barn challenge I missed the first time around. I adore the card, and I suspect you will have fun making 25 more cards that fit the alphabet. It's truly a gem.

  8. A lovely card. Definitely not 'chickening out' enjoy when the ideas come easily to make up for when the creative magic isn't happening!

  9. A good word, I don't think you're chickening out - I think you've set yourself a tough challenge making a card with each letter.

  12. Quite a challenge you have set yourself to find words that will be appropriate for greetings cards. Using up scraps is probably less challenging and you've made a great start.
